You know it’s your favorite time of the year, when the smell of freshly baked Gingerbread lingers through the room! So many reasons to bake it this year: it is delicious, brings Christmas atmosphere to your home and it is so easy to make that also your children can join in. This year we made a Gingerbread-house, but you can shape it however you like!


For 30 small round-shape biscuits

  • • 1 tsp baking soda
  • • 4 tbsp Acacia Honey
  • • 350g flour
  • • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • • 2 tsp ginger
  • • 125g butter
  • • 175g brown sugar
  • • 1 egg


  1. Preheat oven to 180 C°
  2. Mix together all the dry ingredients and add sugar and butter and blend it.
  3. Beat the egg with Acacia honey and stir it into the dough.
  4. Stir it until it comes together, then take the dough out and put it in the fridge for 15 minutes to chill.
  5. Take it out, roll it to ½ cm and cut it to shape.
  6. Place the shapes to a baking tray leaving a small gap between them.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, after that let it cool.
